A live-action take on the Disney classic "Peter Pan" is in the works, and who better than Reese Witherspoon to play our favorite adorable blonde fairy, Tinker Bell.

The 39-year-old actress will not only star in the movie, but she will be helping to produce it, as well. The production is set to be named "Tink," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The project is still developing and no director has been named yet, but Victoria Strouse, who wrote the script for Pixar's sequel "Finding Dory," will be writing the script for "Tink."

There haven't been many details released on the film, but insiders say "it will play with the idea and the timeline of the well-known Peter Pan narrative."

The tale will be "the story you don't know" and will give an entirely new perspective on the fairy.
