The first Twenty 20 International ( T20I) of two-match T20 series between host Zimbabwe and Afghanistan will be played at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo Monday.

Afghanistan is hoping to continue its winning momentum in the bilateral T20I series opener. Afghan batsmen are also expected to dominate Zimbabwe again after their historic ODI series victory.

The non-Test playing team has clinched a historic ODI series against Zimbabwe after a 73-run victory at same ground on Saturday, according to BBC News.

"We made history. It's the first time in 200 years of cricket that we [an Associate team] has beaten a Full Member in a series, I think. I'm very happy with my team's performance and my performance. After a very long time I have performed very well. It's very good for me and also for my team," Man of the Series Mohammad Nabi said in post-match ceremony, according to Cricinfo.
