Comedian and actor Kevin Hart reportedly got into a scuffle outside of a Canadian strip club over the weekend, which involved him throwing a man's phone as the onlooker attempted to record the argument, TMZ reported.

The "Get Hard" star took to Twitter to explain the situation and tell his side of the story in a series of tweets.

"People try to make a story out of anything....I threw the guys cell phone because he was being disrespectful..." Hart tweeted. "Also I wasn't thrown out of anywhere...we were leaving and there was commotion so we left promptly. I don't do drama & never have people."

The incident took place outside of the Le Pigale strip club in Quebec, Canada, according to TMZ. Hart's bodyguards pushed through the crowd so that the actor could exit, and the strip club's security guards pushed back and the scuffle continued with Hart in the middle, spilling out into the street.

Hart attempted to enter a black SUV that was parked outside of Le Pigale when an onlooker held a phone in his face to record the incident, according to footage obtained by TMZ. Hart can be seen clearly as he grabbed the onlooker's phone and threw it. A club waitress can also be seen walking up to the SUV after the crowd dispersed, reportedly upset that Hart didn't pay his $65 tab.

The club manager said that the whole thing was a misunderstanding and that Hart is a "good guy," according to TMZ.
