Utah running back Devontae Booker is considered the best running back in the 2016 draft class, according to Bucky Brooks of college football 24/7.

Several members of the NFL scouting community think that the senior Utah running back is the best prospect at his position in the upcoming draft, according to Brooks. The Utes' top back could be a three-down back at the professional level. Booker has great vision and can take the ball outside of the tackles using speed or up the middle using power. Booker is 5-foot-11 and 212 pounds, but he has great body control and agility for a bigger back.

The senior running back has rushed for 665 yards this season and has scored six touchdowns on the ground. Booker can also catch the ball coming out of the backfield, as he has 194 receiving yards this season.

Many see Booker as a top-five prospect, and Walter Football has him ranked as the fourth best running back for the 2016 NFL Draft. Booker was named the Pac-12 player of the week after rushing for 222 yards and scoring two touchdowns against California Saturday night.

Utah plays Arizona State this Saturday, and look for Booker to keep putting up huge numbers. If Utah continues to run the table and Booker keeps putting up great numbers, he will likely be one of the first running backs of the board come late April.
