An NFL executive says that UCLA linebacker Myles Jack will be a first round pick, according to NFL media analyst Lance Zierlein.

Jack's season ended after just three games this year due to a knee injury. Jack tore his meniscus and will likely need four to six months to recover, according to Chase Goodbread of College Football 24/7. The Bruins linebacker decided to withdraw from school and pursue his dream of playing in the NFL.

UCLA head coach Jim Mora said that Jack would better serve his future if he stayed one more year with the Bruins. Some people felt those comments should have been shared in private, including the same NFL executive that thinks Jack is still a first round pick.

"I thought Jim Mora stepped way over the line with his comments about Myles Jack. Those are comments you might make in private to the kid, but you don't make them public. Jack has plenty of tape to fall back on, trust me. He's going to go in the first," said the NFL executive, via nfl.com.

Last season, Jack had 57 solo tackles and eight tackles for loss. He also has four career interceptions at UCLA, showing that he is capable of covering the aerial game as well. Prior to this season, Jack was considered the seventh best prospect, according to Chris Burke of Sports Illustrated.

Jack will likely need to recover from his knee injury and prove to NFL teams that he is the same player he was before the injury. It will be interesting to follow Jack's story as he prepares himself to make the jump to the NFL.
