Jessica Chastain has transformed herself once again and is nearly unrecognizable on the November cover of W magazine.

The 38-year-old actress — who is known for roles in "Interstellar," "The Martian" and "Zero Dark Thirty" — stuns in some pics with hot pink hair and thick eyebrows for her most punk makeover yet. Within the magazine are several photos, shot by Steven Klein, featuring other daring looks, including platinum blonde hair, leather jackets and even a nipple-baring see-through yellow lace top.

"Intrepid spaceship commander, creepy gothic heroine... [Jessica Chastain] is not the least bit afraid to change things up," said W magazine on Instagram.

In the accompanying article, titled "Transformer," Chastain talked about her upcoming role in "Crimson Peak," and how she's up for pretty much any role. "I would hear, 'Who is the real Jessica?' a lot. I think of versatility as a good thing, but it does make it difficult for audiences to know you. They rarely say that about men. They never worry about 'knowing' them," she explained to the magazine. "One of my goals is to play a villain in a Bond film. People ask me if I want to be a Bond girl, and I say, 'No, I want to be the villain.' I'm waiting for that call!"
