"The Hunstman", the Chris Hemsworth-led spinoff to 2012's "Snow White and the Hunstman", has just found its leading lady in Jessica Chastain, according to The Wrap.

The follow-up will mark the directorial debut of Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, who was nominated for an Academy Award in Visual Effects for the original.

The sequel intends to grow the universe by focusing on the lives of two characters from the first film, Hemsworth's Eric and Charlize Theron's Ravenna, before they met Snow White (Kristen Stewart). Theron is set to return in this next installment, while Stewart is not expected to appear.

Emily Blunt will play the film's villain, while Chastain is expected to be the main character's love interest.

All told, this film's trio of main actresses has been nominated for a combined four Oscars, winning one, and a slew of Golden Globes. Couple that with Hemsworth's Thor-based fans, and this movie is shaping up to have some solid star power.

"The Huntsman" is scheduled for release on April 22 of 2016.
