A Florida woman live streamed herself while driving drunk on Saturday via Periscope, an app that lets users broadcast live video using their phones, according to CNN.

Whitney Marie Beall, 23, was arrested by Lakeland police and is facing charges of driving under the influence. In the video, Beall can be heard slurring her words and telling users how drunk she is and that she is completely lost.

"Where am I right now, people?" she asked, over the sound of music playing in her car. "I have to go home."

The Lakeland Police Department started receiving 911 calls from viewers on Periscope shortly after Beall began broadcasting her live video on the Twitter-owned streaming platform, said police, according to The Orlando Sentinel.

Using a personal Twitter account, a police officer determined her location and tracked her down with the help of landmarks in her live stream, and found that she was driving around with a flat tire.

When officers pulled her over, she hit a curb without applying the brakes. She refused to take a Breathalyzer test and failed the Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which resulted in her arrest and a DUI charge, according to the police

"Not a lot of people know about Periscope. It's something that we're well aware of now," said Sgt. Gary Gross with the Lakeland Police Department, according to Fox 13. "Thank God somebody saw this and they called in to let us know how drunk she was, so that we could get her off the road."
