The annual migration of half a million gazelle and 200,000 zebra from Tanzania to Maasai Mara will be broadcast live on the Internet from today until Oct. 5, according to the Guardian. The animals will make their way from Serengeti National Park all the way to the Maasai Mara National Reserve in order to find water and grazing land.

Those who want to participate in the viewing need to register on the Herdtracker website, which gives them the ability to watch the 10 to 20 minutes broadcast that will occur twice daily on Twitter's Periscope app. One broadcast will take place in the morning and the other in the evening, according to the Advertiser.

The journey is considered to be a marvel of nature and is frequently bloody — after making their way through the Serengeti, the animals face crocodiles in the Mara river and one of the world's highest concentrations of lions and other hungry carnivores in the Maasai Mara.

In addition to live broadcasts, viewers will also be able to look around the camps and have access to interviews with lodge managers, conservationists and safari guides, according to the Telegraph. The stream, along with these additional bonuses, will be accessible on tablets, phones and computers.
