Google has rolled out the latest update for Chrome browser, which includes new touch gestures on Android devices and search by image option for desktops.

Google has been consistent in releasing updates for its popular Chrome browser. Earlier in September, the web giant celebrated  Chrome's five-year anniversary releasing a wide range of new browser apps for Windows and Chromebook users. Updates to the browser continue as the web giant announced Tuesday that Chrome will now include a new search by image option for desktops and new gestures to help navigate easily between tabs on Android devices.

Bringing Chrome to version 30, the new changes will take effect in the next few days, Google Software Engineers Swift Swiper and Kibeom Kim, said in an official blog post. The updated browser will support devices running on Android 4.0 and higher. Users will be able to quickly switch tabs and access menu with simple gestures.

Users can swipe horizontally across the top toolbar to switch tabs and drag down vertically from the toolbar to display all open tabs. Users can also drag down from the top right hand side to open menu and select any option without lifting a finger, Kim said.

On desktop, users can right click on an image and select a new option "Search Google for this image," which will display all related information that used the same image around the web. This can be a very useful feature for someone looking for information, helping them quickly identify it even if the image has no description. If the images are smaller than 9 by 9 pixels, Google will return with no search results.

"These updates to Chrome for desktop and Android will be rolling out to all users over the next few days, so if you don't see them yet, you will soon. Happy browsing!" Kim wrote.

Google also made 50 bug fixes in the new Chrome 30 and improved the performance of the browser on both desktop and mobile versions.

If the next few days are too long for you to wait, then you can go to settings and select "About Google Chrome" and wait for the browser to update and re-launch once completed.
