Job seekers on Craigslist found a very intriguing open position while perusing ads on Thursday: Speaker of the House. Congress is currently lacking someone to take over the position when John Boehner's resignation takes effect, and one House Democrat decided to have a little fun with the Republicans. Rep. Mark Takano (D-Calif.) posted the ad on Craigslist and linked it to his own social media pages.

"Are you an American citizen?" the ad says, according to United Press International. "Do you have experience negotiating hostage situations? Are you ready for the challenge of a lifetime? Then this job is for you!"

The House was preparing for a vote on the open position, from which Boehner (R-Ohio) has resigned, when leading contender for the job Kevin McCarthy (R-Cali.) unexpectedly dropped out of the race.

Requirements for the job, as laid out by the ad, include "maintaining women's access to health care" and "managing multiple investigative committees aimed at attacking Hillary Clinton." The ad also states that "babysitting experience" is "STRONGLY PREFERRED," according to The Press Enterprise.

You can't find the ad on Craigslist anymore, according to MSN, so don't look for it. Since it's not a real job offer, it was probably removed by the site.
