India's Animal Aid Unlimited (AAU) to the rescue, again. Watch the incredible video showing a recent rescue from AAU that has gone viral. The video has a happen ending, we promise.

When a stray, pitiful dog was spotted on the side of the road in Udaipu this past July, he was literally hours from death and no longer even resembled a dog, according to Malaymail.

Animal Aid's Claire Abrams Myers told of the dog being in such a horrible condition from the mange that covered him completely. But rest assured, the transformation is incredible; you won't even recognize this sweet dog physically or emotionally.

A course of IV fluids, antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs over the course of time, as well as medicated baths for his mange, was just the plan of action this big boy needed. He was stoic and gentle through the whole process,. It took two months for him to be healed, but no one gave up on him, according to The Indian Express.

We have all seen those commercials on TV with the street dogs and cats and people asking for donations to the cause, one that is sincere and worthy. But who can hear Sarah McLachlan sing without a tear, thinking about those desperate animals?

The difference between those commercials and this viral video is that the story takes us full circle here. The video shows the pitiful dog, the rescue, the treatment and the happy ending. You get to see what actually goes into a rescue and the hard work from the volunteers who rescue, as well as the strong will to live of these darling, deserving animals as they get a second chance at life and hope, along with love and health.

AAU continues to help better the lives of stray dogs and other animals in India, as well as educate the locals by promoting proper care of animals, as previously reported by HNGN

Watch it, but remember to cheer for the transformation and thank the incredibly hard working team at Animal Aid Unlimited. Their work seems to be never ending, and this street dog got to reap the reward.
