Rapper and executive producer of "Power," 50 Cent has blamed "Empire's" drop in ratings on too much "gay stuff."

In an Instagram post (see below), that has since been deleted, 50 Cent shared a page called @industryonblast captioned: "There are 3 million less [sic] viewers who tuned into last night's Empire episode!!!! did you watch it? We could not take the extra gay stuff or celebrity stuff last night!!!!" according to The Huffington Post.

The rapper chimed in with his own remarks, urging Taraji P. Henson's character "Cookie" to call him for help.

"EMPIRES TV RATINGS TOOK A HUGE HIT. Ok I'll stop now. COOKIE CALL ME BABY. I'll tell every body to watch the show for you. LOL," he wrote, according to The Wrap.

"Empire" attracted a whopping 16 million viewers during its season premiere last week, but the ratings took a major hit on Wednesday night to 13.7 million viewers.

On Monday, a representative for 50 Cent, who also goes by the name Curtis Jackson, said, "Mr. Jackson reposted something on Instagram that originated from a blog in relation to the decrease in 'Empire's' ratings. When he realized there was additional content in the blog post that he did not agree with, he immediately deleted the post as that is not a reflection of his views at all."

He's later posted this on Instagram: "It must be a slow news week, they're gonna say 50 said Empire lost 3 million viewers because of to (sic) much gay s--t."

The rapper, who has accused "Empire" of imitating his Starz drama "Power," mocked the series after it took a dig at him on its Season 2 premiere episode, during which Cookie Lyon called 50 Cent "thirsty," implying that he's desperately seeking attention, as HNGN previously reported.
