Cookie Lyon, played by Taraji P. Henson, called 50 Cent "thirsty" on Wednesday's premiere of "Empire" and the rapper didn't seem pleased as he took to Instagram to respond to the diss by mocking the Fox show.

"50 Cent's still taking jabs at us," Cookie Lyon said to her youngest son Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) in the episode, according to Entertainment Tonight. "Look what he put out on the 'Gram, thirsty ass."

The rapper fired back with an Instagram video expressing his thoughts on the jab. "I can't believe Cookie would say some s--t like that about me," the 40-year-old said in the video. "Thirsty, me? Thirsty? Come on. You stupid?"

The "In Da Club" singer didn't stop there, suggesting that he and Henson's character have history. "Me and Cookie go way back," he said in the video. "You know, I hit that."

His next post included a meme that reads "F*K EMPIRE, TELL EM' WE SAID," which he shared before posting another video pretending to be a director on "Empire."
