The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly expecting wide receiver Dez Bryant back by Week Seven, and quarterback Tony Romo is aiming for Week 11, according to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports.

Bryant's timetable for recovery has been all over the map. Some had even speculated that Romo would return before Bryant, but that seems highly unlikely now.  Bryant is expected to return against the New York Giants, which is the same team he injured his foot against back in Week One.

The Cowboys are clearly missing their two star offensive players, as they took their first loss of the season against the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday. Romo is expected to be back by Week 11 in time to face the Miami Dolphins.

Romo was placed on injured reserve/designated for return late in September. Romo fractured his collarbone in the second half of the Eagles-Cowboys game, Week Two. The Cowboys are currently alone in first place in the NFC East at 2-1, but there is plenty of time between now and the expected returns of Bryant and Romo.

The Cowboys face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night, and the Saints will be hungry for their first win of the season. Without Romo and Bryant on the field, the Cowboys will need others to step up and keep them in position at the top of the NFC East.
