Kristopher Love, alleged "hitman" of Dallas dentist Kendra Hatcher, was arrested for capital murder Friday, while the woman who is accused of hiring him is still at-large.

Hatcher was shot in the parking garage of her apartment complex on Sept. 2, ABC News reported.

Dallas Police chief Max Geron said in a press conference that investigators believe that 31-year-old Love was the one who shot Hatcher and was hired by Brenda Delgado, the ex-girlfriend of Hatcher's boyfriend when the murder happened.

Delgado also allegedly paid Crystal Cortes $500 to drive Love to the parking lot where the shooting took place. Cortes has already admitted to her part in the crime and is now awaiting trial, International Business Times reported.

Delgado was in police custody in early September, having been charged with speeding and failure to have a valid car insurance. The traffic warrant held her for several hours after Cortes was arrested, but cops had to release her from the Dallas County Jail later that night.

There has been no official statement on the motive of the suspect, but some reports say that Delgado was jealous of Hatcher and her relationship with her ex-partner, Ricardo Paniagua, which escalated when Delgado found out that Paniagua took Hatcher to San Francisco to meet his parents, according to Fox News.
