J.J. Abrams has already promised the returns of Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." But they won't be the only beloved original trilogy characters making a comeback.

Admiral Ackbar, he of the famed "IT'S A TRAP!!!" line, will be making an appearance in "The Force Awakens," according to the actor himself. Tim Rose revealed to The Australian that the lobster-esque Rebellion leader will be making his glorious return in Lucasfilm's latest offering, though he wouldn't provide any specifics about his role because, despite his fellings otherwise, he's been sworn to secrecy.

"I'm very frustrated by that," Rose said of the mystery Abrams has kept "The Force Awakens" shrouded in. "Out of the need to be secret, we're not actually able to get everything we need to do our jobs as well as we could. And as someone who has been doing it for 35 years, I find it very frustrating...What I can say about the new movie is that if you were a fan of the original three, you're going to absolutely love this one to bits."

Rose, dude, I get that you're all for fan engagement. But maybe don't bite the hand that feeds you and complain about not being able to spoil the film, okay?

"The Force Awakens" is trying to pull off a careful balancing act of nostalgic goodness and breaking new ground. Rose' reprisal of Ackbar clearly falls into the latter and he believes no one else would be able to pull that off.

"I'd like to think I gave Ackbar something special, which you can tell. I think you can. I can tell when I see my friends who do specialized and full body suit work no matter what character they go into; I can tell you exactly who it is because I know their movements so well.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will hit theaters on Dec. 18.
