Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams only made it three plays Monday night before he reaggravated his sprained ankle and is expected to miss some time, according to NFL reporter Ian Rapoport.

Adams was a second round pick by the Packers in 2014, and he produced solid numbers his rookie season, catching 38 passes for 446 yards, with three touchdowns. Adam's ankle injury came against the Seattle Seahawks, but in that game he was able to return in the second half.

Adams couldn't make the return against the Chiefs, and it seems likely he may have to rest a while before this injury is healed. Adams wasn't the only Packers player who was injured last night, as Andrew Quarless suffered a left knee injury in the second quarter, according ESPN's Rob Demovsky.

Although the Packers have suffered injuries at the receiver and tight end positions, quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the offense has been on point. Rodgers threw for 333 yards with five touchdowns beating the Chiefs 38-28.

The Packers brought back receiver James Jones after he was released from the Giants this preseason, and he is proving to be an impact player with four touchdowns in three games this season. Players like Jones, Randall Cobb, and Ty Montgomery will likely need to step up in the absence of Adams, but it seems like Rodgers will find the endzone no matter who's on the field.
