News broke earlier this week that Kate Gosselin had apparently been dumped by her millionaire boyfriend Jeff Prescott, and with that came a lot of rumors about her ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

In a screenshot obtained by Radar, one of Jon's friends posted an article about Kate's public breakup to his Facebook page and wrote "Hahahahaha." Jon commented with a simple emoji from his personal account: the one with hands raised in celebration. His comment received several "likes."

When his "celebration" started to make headlines, Jon couldn't believe what he was reading and wanted to set the record straight that the account which posted that comment was not actually his own.

"I have teenage kids now who are on social media. They read everything, and the last thing I'm going to do is trash their mother," the 38-year-old reality star turned DJ told Entertainment Tonight. He then went on to explain that he does have two Facebook accounts, one public and one private, but he had used neither of these to comment on his ex-wife's breakup in any way.

Jon said the account that posted the emoji was a fake one, and referred to the situation as "a constant source of frustration, to see impostors post the most ridiculous things."

While people easily believed he would mock her current relationship status since the two did go through a very public and nasty divorce back in 2009, he just wanted to make sure people understood that he would not do such a thing publicly.
