Kanye West managed to offend the fashion community when he announced a last-minute show on Wednesday. The budding fashion designer added his show to New York Fashion Week's already full schedule to present his Kanye West X Adidas Originals Collection, according to CNN.

Fashion designer Anne Bowen was one individual who spoke out against the controversial rapper when his last-minute move left her scrambling for other plans to introduce her new street wear collection, Nomad VII by Anne Bowen. Her show was booked at the same time as West's, and she was forced to mover her show back a day for the "Yeezus" rapper.

"We have been prepping for a year for this at considerable financial, labor- and commitment-cost to our company," Bowen told Women's Wear Daily. "Our show date has been scheduled for months and has been on the Fashion Calendar for weeks. We went through all the proper channels to make this a reality."

Bowen was not the only designer that was stepped on by West's late plans. Naeem Khan, who dressed Beyoncé, Carrie Underwood and Michelle Obama, was also supposed to show at the same time as West, according to TheWrap. He, however, did not change the date of his show.

"I am confident that the fans of the brand and those in industry, who truly appreciate the art of design and craftsmanship, will come out to support us [Wednesday].  I am thrilled with the new collection and we are looking forward to a great show," said Khan.

Bowen listed a complaint with the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Calendar.
