Wendy Williams made a shocking revelation during the premiere of her talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show." Williams got very personal with the audience and viewers when she told them that over the summer she had a very scary experience that involved her son, Kevin Hunter Jr. and synthetic marijuana.

During the "Hot Topics" section of her show, Williams said her son was exposed to synthetic marijuana by a loved one, someone that he looked up to.

"It's one of those pens where you don't see the smoke and you don't smell anything," Williams said. "I was duped. Our kid had been smoking this mess. He got turned out...to the point where he went off the rails for a moment."

Williams told the audience that her family decided together in a meeting to share Kevin's story with William's viewers.

"We've always kept it real," Williams told her audience. "To the parents and guardians watching right now, just talk to your kids. This synthetic marijuana, it was only like 2 percent THC and the rest was factory manufactured."

Williams then said the she and her husband took their son out of the country for holistic treatments.

"We did not want to pump him with psychiatric drugs and all that other kinds of mess. I am glad to say that our boy is on the good side of good now," she said as the audience cheered.

Williams ended the segment with a warning to parents.

"It can happen to me. It can happen to you. It can happen to many," she explained. I just want you to know." Williams then urged her viewers to go to wendyshow.com for more information on synthetic marijuana and "the devil that it is," as Williams said.
