The latest batch of "Star Wars: Episode VII" rumors has raised the possibility of a female villain being cast, a shooting location being chosen and the possible debunking of a debunked rumor about casting. Does that mean the rumor has been bunked or possibly rebunked? We're not sure; we just know you'll be excited about the news when we get to it.

First off, Latino Review and Screen Crush are reporting that Saoirse Ronan has met with director J.J. Abrams and company. It is thought that if cast Ronan would be playing a Sith; thus making her the first female villain in the "Star Wars" universe. We know that Ronan can kick a little tail from her role as a child assassin in "Hanna" so it might be pretty cool to see what she can do with a lightsaber.

It has been known almost since day one that the majority of the film would be show in London much like the original trilogy was. While London is a beautiful city a "Star Wars" film isn't going to have a lot of use for shots of Big Ben; some of the film is going to have to be shot on location. The film blog Oneheadlightink is reporting that at least some of that location shooting will take place in New Mexico. New Mexico's landscape could easily stand in for Tatooine or one of the other planets in the galaxy far, far away.

One popular casting rumor involved the villain from "Star Trek: Into Darkness," Benedict Cumberbatch, joining Abrams in the new "Star Wars" film as well. This rumor was adamantly denied by Cumberbatch in the Hollywood Reporter. Despite the denial Kellvin Chavez from Latino Review is certain that Cumberbatch will be in not only "Star Wars: Episode VII" but the entire new trilogy:

"DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE ABOUT BENEDICT CUMBERBATCH NOT BEING IN 'STAR WARS'. HE IS IN THE MOVIE! In fact, he will be in all three 'Star Wars' films! It's all a smoke screen. Folks, remember when Cumberbatch denied being Khan for over a year? Same situation here. Point is, he lied before and he can lie again... I don't care if he denies it till opening day. We were right before about him playing Khan, and we will right again on this one. Technically, his part in Episode VII is very small but the role is much bigger in Episode VIII and Episode IX."
