After a whirlwind season, "The View" returned Tuesday morning with a new panel to kickoff the 19th season of the daytime talk show. Veteran co-host Whoopi Goldberg was reunited with former co-host Joy Behar and relative newbies Michelle Collins and Raven-Symoné. "Good Morning America: Weekend" anchor Paula Faris rounded out the first episode of the new era.

Behar took the coveted center seat to help bring back energy to the struggling franchise. The sixth co-host, Candace Cameron Bure, joined the ladies after the second commercial break due to production on her upcoming Netflix series "Fuller House," according to the Washington Post. Cameron Bure told the audience she would have a limited role on "The View" until November when she finishes filming the "Full House" reboot.

Although the Hot Topics desk saw many changing faces last season, creator Barbara Walters said she was incredibly excited for the upcoming season. "As 'The View' embarks on a remarkable 19th season, I am extremely proud to see the legacy of smart and diverse women engaging in entertaining and thought-provoking conversation continue," said Walters in a statement, according to E! News.

The show underwent some serious changes this season after Rosie O'Donnell, Rosie Perez and Nicole Wallace all failed to inject some much-needed adrenaline into the show, reported Entertainment Weekly. The new season of the show is also expected to include rotating correspondents Sherri Shepherd, Padma Lakshmi, Stacy London, Ana Navarro and Molly Sims.

The series premiere included appearances by Sen. Elizabeth Warren and "Sleeping With Other People" stars Jason Sudeikis and Alison Brie.
