The latest bundles of emails from Hillary Clinton were released Monday night by the State Department. In between menu-planning and tea-drinking, the former Secretary of State revealed that she was a fan of NBC's "Parks and Recreation" and CBS' "The Good Wife."

In an email titled "Happy New Year!," Clinton asked former aide Monica Hanley what time the two shows were on. "Can you give me times for two TV shows: 'Parks and Recreation' and 'The Good Wife?,'" Clinton asked, according to GQ.

It was no secret that the lead character in "Parks and Recreation," Leslie Knope was a huge fan of Clinton's. Creator Mike Schur even revealed in an interview with HitFix that Clinton was the dream guest star the series never landed.

"Hillary Clinton," Schur said of his dream guest star. "But that became impossible once we jumped to 2017, because we would've had to have answered a question that she probably wouldn't have wanted us to even pose at this point."

Clinton was referred to by Knope as one of her role models and was one of the many powerful female politicians photos that were displayed in her office. Amy Poehler, who played Knope on "Parks and Recreation," also played Clinton during her tenure at "Saturday Night Live."

"Parks and Recreation" actor Rob Lowe was also excited by the news. "Hillary Clinton released emails confirm she watched 'Parks And Recreation,'" Lowe Tweeted along with the hash tags "good taste" and "no secret."
