Chris Pratt never wants to hurt someone's feelings intentionally, even Kim Kardashian's.

Unfortunately, a lewd joke about Kardashian that Pratt made on the set of "Parks and Recreation" went viral and created an uncomfortable situation for the "Jurassic World" star when he encountered the selfie queen on a flight.

Pratt told GQ magazine that he never intended for the ad-libbed joke (which you can watch below) to be heard beyond the cast and crew of the NBC comedy. The 35-year-old actor specifically requested the outtake, which he called "a very, very funny joke," not be featured on the DVD gag reel, but his request was reportedly forgotten. He later received an apology for the video leaking.

"So it's really kind of a bummer," Pratt said. "She probably doesn't know or doesn't care, I'm sure, but I don't like to make jokes at other people's expense, if I can help it."

The "Guardians of the Galaxy" star amended that statement to clarify making jokes in public as opposed to a private joke among friends.

"I like to keep my jokes about people safely way behind their backs," he said. "I'm a sh-t-talker, but if I'm gonna make a joke at someone's expense, I'll do it so that they can never hear it."

He may avoid her now, but Pratt actually starred in a movie with Kardashian in 2009 called "Deep in the Valley." In the film, a mysterious video booth transports his character and a friend to another world that is filled with porn stars. The future Mrs. Kanye West played a sort of porn-world bouncer.

"She'd never really done an acting gig before," Pratt said. "She was so f-----g sweet, and she was nervous."

Pratt will next star in "Jurassic World," which premieres on June 12.
