Zendaya quickly jumped on Internet trolls who called her parents "ugly" and once again showed a maturity far beyond her 18 years.

The controversy began when Twitter user Patty Mayo (@pullupifubad) posted a photo of Zendaya with her parents Claire Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu on Aug. 22 and captioned it, "they made a gorgeous ass child lol."

Then the haters pounced. One user @DARRI_MINNIE87 wrote that the Disney star's parents were "really ugly" and that she "really would cry" if they were her parents.

Zendaya kept her cool and posted a beautiful response to the trolls, who clearly had nothing better to do.

"First, I'm gonna pray for you," she wrote in a Twitter reply. "While you're so concerned about what my parents look like, please know that these are two of the most selfless people in the world. They have chosen to spend their entire life, not worried about trivial things such as looks and insulting people's parents on Twitter, but instead became educators who have dedicate their lives to teaching, cultivating and filling young shallow minds. (One of the most important yet underpaid jobs we have)."

She continued, "So please, log out, go to school, hug a teacher and read a textbook... and while you're at it, go look in the mirror and know that you too are beautiful, because such hateful things only stem from internal struggles. Bless you."

Zendaya never hesitates to face a controversy head on. When Giuliana Rancic made offensive comments about her dreadlocks hairstyle at the 2015 Oscars, the "K.C. Undercover" star released another thoughtful statement condemning the "Fashion Police" co-host.
