It was a Subway franchisee who first raised a red flag of concern about commercial star Jared Fogle, according to Yahoo! Finance. Her lawyer says Cindy Mills had suspicions about Fogle in 2008, and told a Subway executive about her concerns back then. Mills told Jeff Moody she had misgivings about Fogle, who spoke directly with her about paying for sex with minors. Moody was in charge of the Subway Franchisee Advertising Fund Trust at the time. Subway has not responded with a comment about these allegations.

Her lawyer says that Mills tried to show evidence of Jared's illicit behavior to Moody, via text messages, when he stopped her. She claims that he told her he had heard similar remarks about Fogle before, Yahoo! Finance reported.

In the past, Subway has stated that it has no records of complaints against Fogle, according to The Peoria Journal Star. On Aug. 19, Fogle agreed to plead guilty to charges of paying for sex with minors and receiving child pornography. As part of his plea deal, Fogle will not serve a sentence of more than 12 and a half years in prison, nor less than five years.

"He would just tell me he really liked them young," Mills said, according to Mediaite. She claims that Fogle talked to her about sexual encounters with child prostitutes. "Every time I would see him on TV in a commercial with his arms around these children, it would kill me...I couldn't stand it anymore," she said.
