A Florida woman came forward and claimed that she wore a wire to record conversations with former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle, leading to his bust in a child pornography investigation earlier this week.

The woman spoke with the Sarasota, Fla. local news station ABC 7, under the condition of anonymity. She appeared in an on-camera interview with her face blurred and voice disguised and revealed that she is a former journalist who Fogle "felt comfortable" with, so comfortable that he made some inappropriate comments to her.

"He said something to me when we were off camera and that really stuck with me," the woman told ABC 7. "I thought to myself, 'did he really say that to me.'"

She said that Fogle made several questionable comments on multiple occasions. She found the subject matter so alarming that she contacted the FBI, which launched the investigation. She wouldn't specify exactly what Fogle said, but she said it was similar to what the FBI found when they raided his home on Tuesday.

"So when I presented it to the FBI, the first thing that they said to me is 'is this who I think this is,'" she continued. "And I said 'yes it is' and it just went full gear after that."

The Indiana Internet Crimes Against Children task force raided Fogle's home in Zionsville, Ind. early on Tuesday morning, as previously reported by HNGN. He was detained outside of the home while investigators searched the premises and confiscated all electronics to conduct forensic tests on them.

Fogle has not been arrested or charge with anything in regards to the investigation, local news station Fox59 reports.
