The inaugural season of “Arrow” was extremely well done. The action and drama built up to the foiling of Malcolm Merlyn’s (John Barrowman) plan to level the city, a great win for Oliver (Stephen Amell) and his team. Sadly, the young Mr. Queen also lost his closest friend Tommy (Colin Donnell) in the process. Hopefully, there’s more of the same quality of drama and action in the second season. Here are the three things I’m looking forward to in Season 2 of “Arrow”

No. 1—The development of Roy Harper

Last season we got a glimpse into just how much potential Oliver’s version of Robin has. The flips and kicks off the wall were definitely something to behold and under Oliver Queen’s special training, we can only assume he gets better—much better. Hopefully Roy (Colton Haynes) is able to get his mentor out of a pickle or two, returning the favor for last season. (As a side note I like him and Thea [Willa Holland] together—let’s hope that lasts for a while.)

No.2—Oliver and Laurel

The first season was kind of weird with the back-and-forth-between-two-best-friends thing Laurel (Katie Cassidy) was doing. Let’s hope that we at least get them together for a little while—that is before Laurel’s sister returns as the Black Canary and things are bound to get weird once again.

No. 3—The Flash

Fans have already been warned by CW President Mark Pedowitz, that Dr. Barry Allen may not come into the show running at lightning speed and making bad guy look like idiots. However, let’s hope we don’t have to wait too long to see Allen become The Flash and show his stuff. The CW did a great job when it comes to superheroes on “Smallville” and fans are wishing for more of the same on “Arrow.”

Season 2 of “Arrow” premieres Oct. 9, 8/7c on The CW.
