After months of anticipation and rumor, Apple is finally holding a press event on Tuesday where the company is expected to finally unveil the next installment in its long line of flagship smartphones, the iPhone 5S at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET). However, no keynote event from the Cupertino-based tech giant would be complete without a slew of new things to show the world. Below is our list of 7 things you can expect to see from Apple on Tuesday.

The iPhone 5S: Admittedly, this one is a no-brainer. Obviously the whole point of this event is for the company to show the world the latest and greatest iPhone to-date. We know that the company will unveil the device, but what will be different? First of all the new iPhone is expected to come with two new color options. In addition to the normal black and white models, the newest iPhone will feature some higher-end looking colors like graphite grey and champagne gold. It is going to have the same sized display as the iPhone 5 but will come with an improved camera complete with a dual LED flash, making it easier to take photos in darker conditions.

The most exciting potential new feature seems to be the inclusion of a fingerprint scanner around the home button. This will allow users to make their iPhone save their fingerprint and the biometric scanner will then only open the device if the specific person who is attached to it is there to open it with his or her unique fingerprint. This will help with identity verifications for making purchases via the mobile device as well.

iPhone C: The iPhone 5S won't be the only iPhone Apple unveils on Tuesday. The plastic-backed, low-cost and low-end iPhone C is expected to be launched to take over the company's low-end smartphone sales. Previously, the market has been dominated by older generations of iPhones. Now the company is expected to unveil these new multi-color options iPhones to make the gadget affordable to everyone, even those who might be lower-income smartphone fans.

iOS 7: It's very unlikely that Apple will put an iPhone on the market only to force users to download a new software update as soon as it's ready to roll out iOS 7. As a result, users should either expect to download the iOS update tomorrow or at least know the date that it will become available. First announced at Apple's World Wide Developer's Conference in June, the beta version of the huge os overhaul has gone through as many tests as any other iOS update. Odds are good it's finally ready for public consumption.

OS X Mavericks: When it announced iOS 7, Apple also announced an update to its Mac operating system. If the new iOS is going to come out, what better way to market the new OS X than by piggybacking it off of the latest iPhone announcement?

Apple TV: There have been rumors about a potential hardware update for Apple's TV and media streaming device. However, it is much more likely that people will instead see software updates including the ability for iPhone and iPad users to stream content to a friend's Apple TV without signing into their own account.

iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2: Both devices are well overdue for an upgrade. It's possible that the announcement of two new tablets in the iPad family could warrant a flashy press event of their own, it's possible that Apple will want to lump them in with the release of the iPhone 5S.

iWatch: Alright, this is a long shot but Samsung did just come out with its Galaxy Gear smartwatch. How long is Apple expected to keep their rumored device a secret and let its competition dominate the wearable wrist-accessory market?
