Kilo was scheduled to be euthanized from a shelter after not being adopted for several months. Luckily, Candace Miller, a volunteer at a Sacramento shelter, adopted Kilo, thus, saving him from being euthanized.

The previous owner of Kilo abused him and put him through experiences that no dog should ever have to endure. Kilo experienced beating and was forced to stay outside without enough food. He was also bred with another pit bull to make babies who were also treated poorly like the way they treated Kilo, Miller said according to Huffington Post.

In his new home, Kilo joins Miller's three other dogs, Penny, Roofus and Moo. They spend good times together playing and goofing around in the house. Kilo obviously enjoys time with his new family as they play dress up; reenact scenes from different films and others.

But of the three dogs, Kilo has a special relationship with Penny, who are both playmates and even snuggle together. Penny, a baby pit bull, thinks Kilo is her dad which we can see on an adorable video where Penny cuddles with Kilo.

Kilo is one lucky dog who found a new hope in his new family. Penny is also very fortunate to find a father figure in Kilo. You can follow the dog's adventure on Facebook and Instagram for a daily dose of cuteness!
