Apple's next iPhone model, still debated by reports if it would be called an iPhone 6S or iPhone 7, will most likely debut on Sept. 9.

While a redesign is not expected, many enhancements to the existing features are expected in the upcoming phone, according to The Express Tribune.

The new phone is expected to feature enhancements including the force touch display, a better camera and a faster processor, Fox 8 Cleveland reported.

There might also be a Pink iPhone this time, with reports that Apple has been testing a pink color for their iPhone, The Express Tribune notes.

Aside from the iPhone, Apple might also unveil a 12.9-inch "Pro" model of the iPad.

The Cupertino, Calif.-based tech giant has not commented on the speculations, which have begun early July this year when alleged iPhone 6S photos were released, as HNGN previously reported.

Analysts are eager to find out if the new releases from Apple will help reboot the company's biggest revenue driver after recent reports that its sales have been lower than expected.

One big concern about the phone's continued success is Apple's position in China, where it's been losing ground. China is an important market for Apple, accounting for more than 25 percent of the company's total sales in its most recent quarter, according to CNN Money.
