Yolanda, a golden retriever, has been dubbed as a heroic service dog who saved her blind owner during a fire by dialing 911 and pulling her outside their home in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia, the Daily Mail reported.

Using a specialized phone, the dog alerted authorities about the fire and firefighters responded and rescued the woman, who is in her sixties and was brought to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation.

Yolanda was rewarded with food, toys, treats and supplies, according to the Red Paw Emergency Relief Team's Facebook page.

"The crazy part, this is not the first time she's call 9-1-1 for her owner! Last year Yolanda's owner fell in the house and was unconscious, she called 9-1-1 then too! Yolanda is a superhero," Red Paw said.

This is the third time that Yolanda saved her human. In 2013, she chased burglars out of their home. Yolanda's owner called the police when she learned that the men turned on the gas on the stove.

Yolanda has protected the life of her blind human not just once but thrice. What a brave dog indeed!
