A man sporting a Ku Klux Klan tattoo and FUBU sneakers sees nothing wrong with rocking the ink and kicks at the same time, according to the New York Daily News.

The individual opened up about the foams and symbol after he was reportedly stopped by journalist George Chidi at a rally in Stone Mountain, Ga. on Saturday.

"It doesn't matter who, what I wear. I don't care what it's by. I bought them. It's my right to buy them," the Georgia resident said in video footage of the encounter. "The shoes that you wore were probably designed by a white man in the 1920s. But does that make you stop wearing those shoes because a white man designed them? I don't care if a black man designed my shoes."

FUBU stands for "For Us, By US," according to company CEO Daymond John's website. John founded the brand in 1992, All Hip Hop reported.
