Activision has announced a fourth and final expansion DLC to it's popular hit "Call of Duty: Black Ops II." The content is a part of the Apocalypse package and will be available for the PlayStatioin 3 and PC on September 26. The DLC has already been made available to Xbox 360 users as early as August 27 as a result of an exclusivity deal between the game makers and Microsoft.

This will be the last piece of content from the game and comes complete with four additional maps for the multiplayer matchmaking side. Two of the maps are completely new creations. Pod, set on a Cliffside in Taiwain and Frost, set in a snow-covered city in Europe, according to IGN, are never-before played maps.

Meanwhile, Takeoff and Dig are based on two of Treyarch's previous Call of Duty creations. Takeoff is based on Stadium from the original Black Ops multiplayer maps and Dig is an updated version of Courtyard from World at War.

While new multiplayer maps are exciting, every Call of Duty fan knows that with new DLC comes new adventures in the game's popular stocking-stuffer game-mode "Zombies."

Apocalypse features Origins, "The most horrifying and imaginative Zombies experience to date," which pits players against a "Dieselpunk-stylized World War I-era France where they will encounter the return of the original four original heroes from the first game: Dempsey, Nikolai, Takeo and, of course, Richtofen. Zombies have overrun the French conutryside's trenches and fields as well as a the ruins of a mysterious and ancient new location. The trailer for the new DLC can be seen below.

Apocalypse will cost $14.99 on its own. It is free for all the Call of Duty fans who purchased the Black Ops II Season Pass.
