Meek Mill opened up about his love for his girlfriend Nicki Minaj and explained some of the beef that's been going on with Drake these past few days.

The 28-year-old rapper, born Robert Rahmeek Williams, explained to Billboard that sometimes being in a celebrity relationship isn't always easy. With paparazzi following your every move, everything you do has to be done carefully, and dating such a high-profile rapper like Minaj has often been difficult.

"You want to be private with your girl once in a while," he said in the interview. "I would love to be able to just walk down the street by ourselves."

As for his lyrics, he tends to be more of an aggressive rapper, thriving on this to make his raps. "I'm not the best person at putting words together," he admits. "I can't give you the melody. But I might inspire somebody."

He and Minaj have recently spent some time in the studio recording quite a few songs together, including their new track with Chris Brown, "All Eyes On You." This song is a little different, and more romantic, than his usual, and he has Minaj, the queen of rap, to thank for that one.

"She wanted it to be my single, and I didn't," he continued to say. "It turned into an ego argument. She killed me on that song, but I don't really care. When my girl do better than me, I still win. When I do better than her, she still wins."

Earlier this month, he told Power 105.1 that it was a "dream" to be dating Minaj. "I be waking up in the bed, see Nicki, and just go back to sleep like, 'Oh, this must be a dream. Let me wake back up again.'"

When it comes to him and Drake and their recent Twitter feud, it all started when Meek said Drake didn't write his own lyrics, but he did now say that, "there's both sides to everything." His jealousy came out when it came to Minaj's single "Only," which featured Drake. On the track, featuring Lil' Wayne, the three rap about money, fame and most importantly, what Drake would do sexually to Minaj if he had the chance.

"She wasn't my girl then," Mill explains. "But now she wouldn't even had did that."
