Joe Jackson, father of Michael and Janet Jackson, suffered a stroke, and then three heart attacks, just a few days ago. Janet, who just announced she'd be going back on a world tour a few months ago, quickly stopped her the tour's production to be by his side.

As soon as she heard the news about her father, she put the preparation for her "Unbreakable World Tour" on hold to fly out to Sao Paulo, Brazil on her private jet, according to Us Weekly. This is where her father has been hospitalized since he suffered the stroke on his 87th birthday.

The 49-year-old "No Sleeep" singer will remain by his side until he is stable, according to Entertainment Tonight. It is unclear when she will resume the tour's production, but it is still set to start on Aug. 31 in Vancouver.

On Monday, Joe posted to his website from his hospital room thanking everyone for their support. "To my family, friends, acquaintances and fans all over the world I want to thank you all for your prayers, unwavering support and kind well wishes during these trying times," he wrote. "Through God's intervention the wonderful Doctors, Nurses and caretakers at the Albert Einstein Sao Paulo hospital have taken great care of me. God willing, I should be able to make a quick recovery and travel back home soon. Thank you all once again for your prayers and support."
