'The Bachelorette' Kaitlyn Bristowe has made her choice and given her final rose to personal trainer Shawn Booth.

Bristowe accepted Booth's marriage proposal near the pool at the 'Bachelorette' mansion where the final rose ceremony took place. She first had to deliver the bad news to Nick Viall, who thought they had made a real love connection (beyond hooking up earlier in the season).

In the first half of the finale, Bristowe brought home each of the men separately to meet her family, which included her parents, step-parents and sister. Her mother made sure to have a private conversation with both of her daughter's suitors, but she and Bristowe's father both gave their seal approval to each man.

Booth and Viall acted civil when they came face to face during the 'After the Final Rose' broadcast, and the software sales executive wished the happy couple all the best.

"Bachelor in Paradise" will kick off next Monday at 8 p.m. on ABC. The second-runner up of this season's "Bachelorette," Ben Higgins, will serve as "The Bachelor" when the show returns in 2016.
