Shah Faisal Shinwari, a teen vlogger, had to be rescued from the Thames River when he jumped from the London Bridge in a video he posted on Thursday. Seventeen-year-old Shinwari, known better by his YouTube username "Carnage," claims he posts entertainment videos on his YouTube channel. "It originally was a dare from one of my subscribers, and I attempted it as I like doing crazy shit," he said about the video, The Huffington Post UK reported.

The video shows the teen jumping from the London bridge, most likely filmed by a friend. After he was shown struggling to swim through the strong currents and shouting for help, it was cut to him lying somewhere with paramedics attending to him. He seemed to have been very cold after being in the water.

Upon receiving the news, the London Police and members of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), announced they reprimand this kind of action. Tony Wafer, spokesman of the RNLI said: "We are extremely disappointed that this young man chose to risk his life in this way. He was very lucky that the outcome wasn't more serious." Wafer added: "We are glad that this young man regrets his actions, however, we would strongly discourage anyone from doing anything like this," in a statement to NBC News.

RNLI, the group that rescued the boy, relies mostly on donations to keep their group going. It costs £100,000 annually to run the London location. Shinwari, after admitting the stupidity of his action, received a lot of criticism after performing the stunt that he pledged a donation to the group from his video views on YouTube and to raise funds for the group as well, according to the DailyMail UK.
