Bill Cosby lost his latest bid to block a lawsuit claiming that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl at the Playboy Mansion in 1974 in Los Angeles.

The California Supreme Court denied the actor's petition to review the case on Wednesday.

"We are looking forward to Mr. Cosby answering questions under oath at his deposition. It's a very big victory," said Gloria Allred, who represents Judy Huth, the woman who brought the litigation against the actor, according to Reuters.

In the lawsuit filed against Cosby, Huth, who is now in her 50s, alleges that she and her 16-year-old friend met the 78-year-old comedian while he was filming a movie at Lacy Park in Los Angeles.

Cosby invited the girls to his tennis club the following weekend where "he served them alcoholic beverages and played games of billiards" with Huth, and that the rules of the game were that she "was required to consume a beer every time Cosby won a game of billiards."

Cosby then took the girls to the Playboy Mansion, and it was in one of the rooms where he "proceeded to sexually molest (Huth) by attempting to put his hand down her pants, and then taking her hand in his hand and performing a sex act on himself without her consent," the lawsuit states, according to CNN.

More than two dozen women have come forward with their stories of Cosby drugging and sexually abusing them. Several of these women have filed civil lawsuits accusing him of defamation.

Cosby has never been charged with a crime and has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing since the allegations first came into light, Sky New Australia reported.
