When Itty Bitty Hope the horse was born, she was only 14 inches tall. The miniature horse is tiny - even for her breed - and her height tied for the smallest horse on record, according to Country Living.

Hope didn't win the title, because she weighed more at birth than the title-holder for tiniest horse, owner Linda Woods said. But life has big plans for Hope - she is being trained as a therapy horse at Mini Hooves of Love. Since Hope will most likely remain under 25 inches tall, she is the perfect little nugget to travel to hospitals and nursing homes and fit around all the furniture and equipment.

Hope is still with her mother, but she is getting used to people and other animals as part of her training. "She is also learning, with aids of shoes and rubber hoof covers, to be able to walk on different surfaces such as tile and hardwood that normally would be difficult to maneuver on," Linda told Country Living.

"Many people who are in nursing homes now are of the age that they had interaction with horses when they were young," Woods said in an interview with ABC News. "One man who had been a farmer had tears in his eyes as he pet one of the horses. He said he hadn't touched a horse in 16 years."

She may be "itty bitty," but she is sure to bring a ton of "hope" to many!
