Kim Kardashian will never live down her infamous 2011 divorce from Kris Humphries after only 72 days of marriage. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star admitted to Sir Martin Sorrell in an interview with The Drum that she thought her career was over after her second divorce.

"At the time when I was going through the divorce I did say to everyone, 'You guys, I think our careers are over. I hope you've saved your money. And now we'll just continue to do our clothing stores and continue to do what we started off doing before the show,'" Kardashian said.

She admitted she was being "super paranoid" and decided to take some time off to regroup. "The time was really good for me," she said. "I cancelled everything. I had a book tour, I had a fragrance launch, I had everything that you could possibly imagine and I just cancelled it all and I took time for me."

Kardashian married Humphries in a lavish California wedding in August 2011 after only being engaged for 90 days. The couple aired the entire affair in an E! special, "Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event." The divorce was not finalized until April 2013. Kardashian married her third husband, rapper Kanye West, a little over a year later.
