One of the most touching commercials that IAMS released was in 1999 about the story of a girl and her dog that adorably grew up together. This year, it hopes to tug our heartstrings again in a moving ad released this week.

The ad, about "A Boy and His Dog Duck," shows how life changes with age. What will bring you goosebumps and would make you reach for a tissue is the strategically placed flashback at the end.

IAMS was bought by Mars from P&G in April 2014. Brian Nugent, senior brand manager for IAMS, said that their "Casey" ad resulted in sales growth for the company and that they are aiming to do the same with the recently released ad.

"If you are a dog owner, the thing you aspire to most is the dog will live a youthful, vibrant life from puppyhood to maturity," Nugent said, AdWeek reported.

The remake of "Casey," 16 years later, taps into our hearts as it showcases the emotional connection between dogs and their humans. We can see in the video how the boy and his dog did things together until they grew up.

No doubt, this commercial would bring people closer to their pets and might even give an exponential growth to IAMS sales.
