Actors Noah Wyle and Sara Wells welcomed their new baby earlier this week, the Associated Press reports. Wells gave birth to their daughter on Monday, according to the "ER" star's spokeswoman.

Frances Harper Wyle was born on June 22, Us Weekly reports. This is the couple's first child together, and they announced the pregnancy in February at Vanity Fair's Oscars afterparty. Wyle's spokeswoman said mommy and baby are doing well and described Wyle as being "over the moon" for his new bundle of joy.

The 44-year-old actor married his 35-year old wife at their farm in Santa Barbara, Calif., on June 2014, according to People magazine. In an interview obtained by E! News, Wyle gave details of his nuptials on daytime talk show "The View" shortly after the couple's honeymoon in Paris.

"It was beautiful," Wyle said, according to E! News. "It was great. It was a very small ceremony - we have this little farm in California. We got married on the ranch in front of the barn and then took a honeymoon."

Wyle shares two children with former wife Tracy Warbin, 9-year-old daughter Auden and 12-year-old son Owen. His television credits also include "Nip/Tuck," "Californication" and "Fallen Skies." In a local radio interview obtained by Us Weekly, the proud father said his son Owen loves to visit him at work.

"To him his dad has the best job in the world. I run around with a machine gun all day and shoot aliens. So my street cred with his third-grade class is pretty high," he said, according to Us Weekly. "He looks at me like a hero, which makes me go back each season."
