Before male model Michael Girgenti hit Kourtney Kardashian with a paternity lawsuit he reportedly threatened to take her to court in a letter. According to Radar Online, Girgenti issued Kardashian an ultimatum telling her to get a DNA test on three-year-old Mason or he would take her to court.
"My attentions are not to hurt the family you've created with Scott," he wrote. "But at the same time, Mason deserves to know the truth."
"I assure you I don't take being a father lightly," he continued in the letter Radar Online reports. "I will be a great father to Mason. Please take this final request for a DNA test seriously. Because if you don't, I will be forced to take legal action and sue."
Girgenti claims he had "unprotected sex" with the 34-year-old reality star. The two met on the set of a photo shoot for 944 magazine in 2008. According to several reports they exchanged contact information and met up twice, Girgenti claims.
The second time they met they allegedly had sex. According to Radar, Girgenti claims the day after they had sex she texted him and said "Last night was so much fun. But Scott's bugging my again and I don't know what to do."
That was the last time he heard from her. The model told Star magazine that he wanted to end "the constant wondering" and to find out once and for all if Mason was his son or not. According to TMZ, besides ordering a paternity test for Mason, Kardashian, Diick and himself, he is also seeking joint custody.
In another claim, Girgenti says that the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star two kids don't look anything like. Her lawyers told TMZ the claims are false.
"We have not seen the reported court filing, but we are informed that this individual has been seeking to get paid to publish his ridiculous pleading," her lawyer told the website. "His claims are absurd and this is simply another attempt to gain publicity and profit from fictional stories about my client."
