Have you ever wondered why some of your tweets do better than others? Well now, not only can you more easily track the performance of your tweets, but you can get a better understanding of your presence on Twitter without having to reach out to a third-party service.
Twitter will be making its advertising service "Twitter Analytics" available for all users, without having to pay for advertising.
Previously, the system was only available to those who signed up and purchased ads or tweets for the site to promote. Now each user can simply go to the advertising page to see statistics on their tweets, including favorites, retweets and replies. It also lets people sort their tweets in "Best," "Good" and "All" categories so they can determine what works best for them to at a single glance.
According to TechCrunch, you can also use the system to see how many people are clicking on the links you tweet. Perfect for people who want to get an idea of the engagement that their Twitter presence is having on their followers.
The system is ideal for marketers who want to promote their accounts or products and force their way into the discussion on Twitter by paying a few extra dollars. The idea at work here is, if more people are aware of Twitter Analytics, it will bolster the company's advertising presence as more people will not only be aware of it, but have a basic understanding of its functionality as well.
To access this new feature, simply click HERE and enter your Twitter username or e-mail and enter your password. It brings you to the advertising page and may prompt you to sign up. You can ignore that and simply click the "Analytics" tab on the top of the site. That should bring you to the analytics for your account.
