Jay Z and Solange Knowles seem to have made amends. Just days after a video leaked of Beyoncé's younger sister physically attacking the rapper in an elevator, the two were spotted shopping at a high-end jewelry store in New York City.

A source at the store told TMZ that while there appeared to be no animosity between Jay Z and Solange, neither one spoke to each other while browsing in Mr. Flawless. Reportedly they were in the store for about 20 minutes before leaving without buying anything.

The source also said neither one tried on any jewelry. According to the New York Daily News, the elevator fight was sparked by Jay Z reportedly telling Beyoncé that he wanted to go to a party hosted by Rihanna instead of going home.

A source told the newspaper that tensions were already high when the "Magana Carta" rapper said that he wasn't ready to head home. Reportedly Solange asked Jay Z why he couldn't skip the party.

"Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?" Solange asked Beyoncé, the source claims.

According to the Daily News, the rapper said "You're one to talk" which sent Solange into a rage. Once inside the elevator she is seen kicking and punching Jay Z while Beyoncé stands off to the side.

The newspaper also reports that Jay Z and the "Losing You" singer got into an altercation about 15 minutes before leaving the Met Gala party because some of Solange's friends showed up to the hotel unannounced.

The source claims that her friends tried to use the rapper's name to get into the exclusive party.

"Two of her friends, who were not dressed for the Met ball, showed up at the Standard and caused a scene downstairs," the source said. "They wouldn't leave and kept name dropping Jay Z. They were pretending they were guests of his and not hers. Management went to Julius [Beyoncé's bodyguard] and said there's a problem."

Reportedly Jay Z got wind of it and "snapped at Solange."

They all agreed to leave the party but a "drunk and irritated" Solange flipped out once inside the elevator. In the end Jay Z didn't go to Rihanna's party but took a separate car home from Beyoncé and her sister.
