Tommy Lee - the 61-year-old drummer and keyboardist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe - recently revealed that he underwent hand surgery for carpal tunnel and Dupuytren's contracture on his hand.
He shared an Instagram post of the procedure and condition of his affected hand before, during, and after the surgery.
"Well kids, it's show n' tell time ...[I] hope this doesn't wreck your lunch," the caption read. "[O]nly 3 weeks ago, I underwent a hand surgery by @drcohenhandsurgeon."
Lee's doctor told him about the two "debilitating issues" that he had on his right hand.

He also told fans and drummers that the condition can be sorted if detected early.
"I can have my life back and my money makers," he added. "And for you drummers and musicians out there, I can say it's possible to fix!"
The final clip of his Instagram post featured him twirling his drumsticks to indicate that he has since recovered.
Mötley Crüe's next show is scheduled for May 24 in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The band is also on the lineups of several music festivals this summer, including Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Florida, and Summerfest in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
