Huawei Mate 9 is the best Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replacement, yet.

Loved the deceased Samsung Galaxy Note 7's features? Good news as users can still enjoy the Note 7 with Huawei Mate 9.

Hopefully, there are no battery issues leading to sudden explosions with Huawei's smartphone/ phablet.

The Chinese technology company is expected to unveil its latest flagship smartphone on November 3 in Munich, Germany.

Venture Beat got the exclusive news regarding the Huawei Mate 9. Reliable speculator Evan Blass got the exclusive news from undisclosed sources.

Huawei Mate 9 will run on 64-bit, octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset with 6 GB RAM. The smartphone is also expected to have 256 GB internal storage memory, expandable with a microSD.

Huawei's next flagship smartphone's camera feature is also very impressive. Mate 9 will be equipped with dual lens and dual sensor 20 MP camera with Leica lens. The aperture will also be improved to f/2.0.

Huawei Mate 9 will be available in two variants with codenames Manhattan and Long Island.

Mate 9 Manhattan and Long Island will both have a 5.9 inch screen, with the latter having a dual-edge curve display. The Edge display is similar to Samsung's Galaxy Edge series and the now deceased, Galaxy Note 7.

Also, the Mate 9 Long Island is set to have slightly more advanced feature with a 2K-screen (QHD). The higher display resolution is needed for the Mate 9 to be Google Daydream VR ready.

Mate 9 Manhattan will only have FHD display resolution with no dual-edge curve display.

Unfortunately, the Huawei Mate 9 Long Island will be restricted to China. Huawei Mate 9 Manhattan, on the other hand, will be released globally.

The price of Huawei Mate 9 is expected to be around the price of Huawei's previous flagship smartphone, Huawei P9.

If the Huawei Mate 9 Manhattan and Long Island will have a reasonable price, it may already claim the title of best Samsung Galaxy Note 7 replacement.
