"Divergent Ascendant" will not happen soon as both lead stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James remained clueless on Lionsgate's move to turn the movie into a TV series.

According to Chatt Sports Net, Lionsgate is set to announce its plan to transform the movie into a TV series without properly informing the lead stars.

All four key actors, including Miller Teller, Ansel Elgort, Woodley and James, were caught unaware about the plans until the news broke online.

In an interview, Woosely said: "Honestly, I was on a plane when all that happened and I landed, and I'm like 'Whoa, what's going on, I need to talk and find out what the details are."

In another interview, Teller said: "It caught us all by surprise, at this point, it's a different set of circumstances. We'll see. I honestly haven't talked to anybody. Things do change anytime they're messing with something that was not the original intention. We all signed on for it in hopes that it'd be released in theaters, and we all had every intention of finishing [the franchise]."

With the main actors' part for the final installment still unconfirmed, "Divergent Ascendant" might be entangled with a much bigger problem in the long run.
